Our Beliefs

Our Purpose is to...

"Raise up lovers of Christ with passion to serve"

GCM envisions..

"Young adults in love with God, passionate to serve, fully surrendered, with faith to go the distance, so that the name of Jesus is glorified throughout the earth."

GCM Believes...

That every Christian is to carry out the great commandments spoken by Jesus in Matthew 22:37-39, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

That the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ's (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians.

Authentic worship is the fuel for effective ministry. Worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship. Worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore we give great place to music in our mission. Worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our mission is designed with great emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God, that He might instruct us in worshipping Him. Worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshipping Him.

GCM Beliefs

God exists and has revealed Himself to mankind exactly as the Bible expresses, with the ultimate expression being the incarnation of Jesus Christ.

In the inerrancy of scripture. The entire Bible, Old and New Testament, is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

That God is eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things.

That Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.

GCM Beliefs

That after Jesus ascended to heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, a reality and obligation shared by all believers today.

That all people by nature are separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and believes in their heart that Christ is personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.

God's will for believers is for them to exhibit transformed lives evidenced by purity, holiness, and growth in Christ-like character. He desires that we participate, according to our spiritual gifts, in the task of effectively sharing the Gospel message of salvation with those, near and far, who have yet to believe in Jesus.

Jesus Christ will return, raise the dead, judge all people, and establish His glorious kingdom.
